Production Techniques
Snelder’s products are designed and developed in-house using a 3D CAD system. This enables more accurate, faster, and more efficient production. It also allows us to perform a dynamic stress analysis on a product, which helps prevent unexpected issues in real-world applications. Furthermore, we have our own toolmaking shop, which allows us to manufacture punches and/or dies for custom products.
To produce this wide range of products, Snelder has an extensive fleet of machinery at its disposal. In 2006, we acquired a punch-laser machine that combines the best of both worlds: the fast and cost-effective punching of holes in sheet metal and the unique design flexibility of the laser. Combined with various welding techniques, bending, shearing, and a variety of stamping machines, we confidently assert that we have mastered a broad spectrum of metalworking capabilities.

Welding
Welding plays an important role in metalworking. Thanks to the various types of welding processes, a solution can be found for virtually any situation. In cases where a permanent joint is necessary and any weakening of the structure is unacceptable, welding is the preferred method.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
Snelder has a variety of machines for sheet metal processing, and we specialize in small- to medium-sized production runs. To maintain a high level of efficiency, most of our machines are CNC-controlled (Computer Numerical Control).
We process all common metals and material thicknesses up to approximately 6 mm, with or without material treatment.

Coil Processing
Snelder has an automatic stamping line for processing sheet metal, and we specialize in large production runs.
We process all common metals and material thicknesses up to approximately 6 mm, with or without material treatment.
Plastic Injection Molding
Snelder has three injection molding machines for manufacturing plastic products. We use a variety of plastics for this purpose, varying in color and composition. If necessary, a Teflon additive is incorporated into the products to improve their sliding properties. The injection molding machines are computer-controlled and can run continuously at night and on weekends without the need for staff. This enables us to produce very efficiently.
Tube Machining
Snelder has machines that produce semi-finished products through cold forming. This process involves the varied use of dies manufactured in our own tool shop. Feel free to inquire about the possibilities.

Edit Profile
Snelder has machines that cut lengths of aluminum extrusion profiles into semi-finished products by sawing and/or punching. Feel free to inquire about the options.
