Sheet Metal Fabrication

Snelder has a variety of machines for sheet metal fabrication, and we specialize in small to medium-sized production runs. To maintain a high level of efficiency, most of our machines are CNC-controlled (Computer Numerical Control).

We process all common metals and material thicknesses up to approximately 6 mm, with or without material treatment.

We offer the following:

Types: Sheet Metal Fabrication

The combination punch-laser machine combines the best of both worlds. Punching holes is faster and more cost-effective, while the laser offers much greater freedom for cutting contours. The machine can automatically load, unload, and sort parts, enabling unmanned production.

For programming, we use the Lantek software package. This package converts digital drawings into code that the machine can understand. This code is then sent to the machine via a post-processor, after which the punching and/or cutting can begin.

This machine does exactly what it promises. Thanks to its digital control system, the machine cuts with extreme precision, and the stops ensure that the product is always at right angles.

Because this machine is equipped with CNC control, it can simulate complex sheet metal bending operations where the bending sequence is critical, making unnecessary errors a thing of the past. Features:

For smaller orders, we have a number of presses with varying punching forces. These presses can be deployed quickly and have short setup times.
