Our Sales department takes a central position in the Snelder organisation.Sales is responsible for writing and processing tenders, processing orders and steering the production.Supported by Ridder's advanced ERP software, we are able to respond adequately to our customers' requirements.The complicated business process of production, warehouse, stock control and planning is neatly arranged through this software suite. For customers, this means that we can directly indicate what the possibilities are for the supply of materials.
 
Our many years of experience enable us to provide custom made calculations, for - amongst other things - ventilation and screening installations, that comply with our customers' specific requirements.
 
A good product is one thing, but offering a good service is at least as important.As far as we are concerned, agreements on supplies must always be met.Where necessary, we will therefore give all possible support to guarantee an optimum performance from all our systems.
 
Snelder puts a high value on innovation and knowledge acquisition, and therefore we will continue to invest in new product development.Before we introduce a product to the market, it has to comply with strict criteria.The design phase is fully in 3D CAD.If necessary, the design is tested for strength by means of software applying the finite elements method.Snelder has a test greenhouse in which an extensive endurance test can be performed.Next, a field test is performed in order to recreate the real situation as closely as possible.Also, we often have our products tested by an independent organisation for extra certainty.If all this has been finished successfully, and an evaluation has taken place, the product will be released.
 
For a double continuous ventilation in greenhouses, Snelder has a 3D simulation model.This allows us to analyze the push rods in the covering window, push rods that run through each other as it were.In practice, the push rods must always run free.As this requires a lot of accuracy during production AND installation, it is important to know exactly where the push rods must be bent.In this way, an optimum ventilation capacity is achieved.
 
In cooperation with TNO Bouw, the calculation module Mathcad was developed, which can be used to determine the measurements of push rods in Venlo greenhouses, in accordance with NEN 3859.Here, the application of insect gauze, for instance, is also taken into account, as well as the wind region of the Netherlands in which the greenhouse will be built.The latter in connection with the weather influences, such as the wind force pressure that the greenhouse covering is subjected to.
 
Due to the transition from 2D to 3D, the design possibilities have increased enormously.Apart from a quicker and more accurate design, it is also possible to perform (more) complex calculations.Snelder is proud to announce that its complete product range is in 3D.
 
Our production hall has a wide range of machinery manufacturing many ventilation and screening parts.The production of push rods for vents is fully automated, so that large projects are no problem at all.
 
We are particularly proud of our purchase of a punching laser machine in 2006, allowing us to manufacture more accurate products, more quickly.The cheap punching technique, in combination with the freedom of shape of the laser technology, gives us extra production possibilities.

Snelder works with common materials such as St 37, Sendzimir, Stainless steel and aluminium, but is also able to apply other, available types of steel and aluminium.We are working very closely with a galvanizing factory and a paint shop, who will make sure that our products are protected for years to come.

In 2007 we made a great step forwards in our logistic system, by taking a new pipe hall in operation.Ventilation and screening projects require many long parts.The pipe hall with its free span of more that 25 meters is perfectly suited for this.
 
Our Tool Manufacture Department makes stamps and moulds for die-casting and general stamping and die-cutting.In addition to the preparation of prototypes of new products, they are also responsible for maintenance, adaptations and repairs.
 
When making tools and products, we use CNC controlled machines (based on Computer Numerical Control) for turning, milling, drilling, grinding, etc.
 
The construction of a larger warehouse a couple of years ago allows us to supply our customers quickly with parts from stock.More and more, the market is asking for 'just in time' deliveries, so that a proper logistic order processing is very important.
 
A fully integrated software suite monitors the production processes, the purchase and the stocks of both semi-finished and finished products.We use the ERP suite from Ridder Data systems, which enables us to look at an order's status at any time, and make adaptations if necessary.
 
Whether it is one single project or a large order, our warehouse staff will make sure that you will get the right products at the right time.
 
Our own transport service limits the risk of mistakes.This also makes us less dependent on third parties.Post-paid deliveries in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, only for planned rides.For this, see the following diagram.
