Tube Machining

Snelder has machines that produce semi-finished products through cold forming. This process makes use of a variety of dies manufactured in our own tool shop. Feel free to inquire about the possibilities.

We offer the following:

  • Tube tapering
  • Tube expander

Types: Tube Machining

Tube tapering is primarily used to power ventilation and shading systems in greenhouse construction. This method is also used in camping tents and stable construction. The process is universally applicable whenever pipes need to be joined on site and a shorter length is desired for logistical reasons. The tapering machine is virtually fully automated and equipped with an automatic feed and discharge system. The tube is tapered through cold forming. Depending on the diameter, one or two holes are punched. The tubes are then connected on-site using a flange bolt and nut.

 Features:

  • Pipes up to Ø 38 x 1.5 mm.
  • Lmax. 10,070 mm.

Snelder has a fully automated production line for labels, where the correct type of tube is loaded into the hopper and the ready-to-use, bundled labels come off the conveyor belt. Feel free to inquire about the options.
